Analyzing and Investigating the Effect of Management Accounting Techniques on Managers’ Timely Decision Making in Mellat Financial Co.
By the rapid and dramatic technology progress and changing organizations production systems along with the increasing competition in global markets, managers of economic unit will be encouraged to produce high-quality products, provide customer-friendly services, and ultimately reduce the cost of goods and services. By the expansion of human societies, commercial markets have also expanded and larger business units have emerged and competing with each other. In order to maintain competitive advantage in today's dynamic and changing environment, organizations need to be able to adapt themselves to changes, and to be able to predict and respond to them. For this purpose, the organization must have evaluation of the existing and desirable situation in order to be able to adopt and implement the most appropriate strategy. Management accounting can be effective by providing new costing systems and reducing costs, offering new management techniques and solving problems and barriers for organizations to succeed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of management accounting techniques on mangers’ timely decision making in Mellat Financial Co. In this study, survey method has been used. The statistical population in this study is all managers and employees in Mellat Financial Co. which are 100 people. According to Morgan table, 80 people were selected as sample size and they were randomly selected. The data were collected by using a questionnaire and questionnaires were distributed among the employees. Also, LISREL software was used to analyze the data. According to the results of data analysis, there is a significant and positive relationship between managers’ decision making improvement (timely decision making) and management accounting techniques in Mellat Financial Co. which can be a policy guide in the organization.
